Being a member of this club involves certain responsibilities. The following terms comprise our Code of Conduct and have been voted by the membership to be in the best interest of the club.
- Each member shall treat the club property with care and respect.
- Each member shall be allowed to have one guest accompany the member on the property.
- Motor vehicles shall be kept behind the ranges and only in the parking lots or driveways.
- Shooting Hours shall be from 9:00 am to SUNSET.
- All shooting shall be in a safe direction, and towards safe backstops.
- For safety reasons, there shall be no hunting or hiking on our property behind the impact areas of the ranges - at any time.
- Casual shooting shall not be permitted on the range while a scheduled shoot is being conducted.
- Junior members must be accompanied by an adult while using the club ranges.
- No equipment or supplies belonging to the club or any of its divisions shall be borrowed, lent, or rented by anyone for any reason.
- Under no circumstances should any targets be placed on the berm to the right of the rifle/pistol range nor any shooting towards that berm. Placing targets on this berm creates a very dangerous situation with the possibility of projectiles going off the club property toward the camp. This behavior endangers our neighbors and the existence of our club
Additional codes of conduct listed below are topics that have come up for discussion and are explicitly listed. This is not a comprehensive list.
Photographs: No one shall take pictures of any other individuals on club grounds without first obtaining express permission to do so.
Dogs/Pets: Any dogs or pets on club grounds must be on a leash or otherwise restrained and under the owners control
Membership cards: A member may ask any individual to see thier membership card if it is not openly displayed.
That individual must comply and show thier membership card.
Any member can request a non-guest non- member to leave teh club grounds.
Tannerite or other exploding targets are banned and not to be used on the ranges at the WRGC. Explosions disturb our neighbors, and we try to be good neighbors.
Members are asked to pick up all fired shotgun hulls from the trap & skeet ranges and not to put any target throwers directly on top of the trap houses
No center fire firearms are allowed on the rim fire/archery range (the range with the concrete tower). This is to limit the noise to our neighbors.
